The NPP Spectec company started an implementation project of the information management system maintenance and repairs in the Omsk branch of JSC "TGC-11". A system will be implemented on a software platform of TRIM.
Objectives
Physical assets (the capital technology and ancillary equipment) are a basis of business of the energy companies. Problems of cost reduction, increase in production volumes require system approach to management of physical assets. In this regard the management of TGC-11 makes the decision on the beginning of an implementation project of the information management system by maintenance and repairs (MRO ISU) in the Omsk branch. The CHPP-2 became the platform to start the project.
Solution
As a software platform on which this project will be implemented, EAM/MRO system of TRIM is accepted. The NPP Spectec company – TRIM developer became the contractor on implementation of ISU of a MRO.
Project works began in August, 2012. So far specialists of NPP Spectec conducted diagnostic examination of processes and organization structures of the customer, the existing methods of management, information infrastructure, and started development of the project documentation – technical specifications and design specifications. Further the Spectec company will perform all complex of works on system implementation which will cover management on repair of the Omsk branch TGC-11 and also divisions of CHPP-2 – workshop (boiler, fuel - transport, chemical, electric) and group of preparation and carrying out repairs. The license to use of the software of TRIM for 30 users will be delivered to the customer.
"We expect from system implementation of increase in completeness and accuracy of the data about processes of maintenance and repair, supply with spare parts and materials. It will give the additional tool for growth of efficiency of business processes", – Alexander Morozov, the deputy head of department of information technologies of the Omsk branch of JSC "TGC-11" noted.
"In a work progress we will rely on long-term experience of our company in the field of optimization and process automation of a MRO. Its proper organizational support is the key to success of the project", – Yury Svistunov, the project manager from NPP Spectec told.
2013. Works are continued
By June 20, 2013 the NPP Spectec company performed the complex of works provided by the project documentation:
- certification of the equipment is carried out,
- data on 7 thousand units of equipment CHPP-2, including a hierarchical structure of the equipment, passport characteristics, technical parameters, scheduled works with the frequency, structure of works used by spare parts and materials, labor input, etc. are entered into a system.
- work of the created database is tested on the processes of a MRO implemented in a system
- instructions are developed for users, training is provided
- system administrators and instructors are trained.
Specialists of NPP Spectec unrolled TRIM in 30 workplaces of users and connected executive office of the Omsk branch TGC-11 to work with a system.
For June 20, 2013 specialists of NPP Spectec and JSC TGC-11 began preparation of documents on the MRO ISU expansion and its implementation on the Kirov district boiler house.
2014. The next stage of implementation of information system MRO in JSC TGC-11 is completed
Specialists of NPP Spectec completed in the spring of 2014 the next stage of works on implementation of the information management system as maintenance and repairs of JSC TGC-11. A system covered a new object – the Kirov district boiler house. The implementation project of the information management system maintenance and repairs (MRO) started in the Omsk branch of JSC "TGC-11" in August, 2012.
At the first stage, in May, 2013, a system covered 30 users in management on repair of the Omsk generation and also in CHPP-2 of the Omsk branch of JSC "TGC-11". In July, 2013 the second stage of system implementation began, it was implemented in the Kirov District Boiler House (KDBH).
Lately specialists of NPP Spectec performed a complex of project works – created the database of a system, developed analytical tools for users and a form of the reporting, provided training, set the software of TRIM in workplaces of users.
In April, 2014 information system MRO on KRK is put into trial operation. It covered management of KRK, transport section, workshop of central heating, the by-product recovery and electric department, group of preparation and carrying out repairs, technological department, the sector of production supervision and labor protection. In a system there were 12 new users, and their total number by the end of the second stage reached 42.
