Federal state unitary enterprise Scientific Research Institute Voskhod starts acceptance of DPC ready for operation

The Optima group announced on September 26, 2012 project completion on creation of engineering infrastructure of the interdepartmental redundant data processing center (DPC) for federal state unitary enterprise Scientific Research Institute Voskhod. Optima Services acted as the contractor of the project.

Project

Creation of the engineering infrastructure of DPC meeting the international standards in the field of fault tolerance - a key indicator of work of DPC became result of cooperation of Optima and federal state unitary enterprise Scientific Research Institute Voskhod. So, according to the American TIA-942 standard, the new DPC of federal state unitary enterprise Scientific Research Institute Voskhod corresponds to the level of reliability of Tier 3 that gives the chance of carrying out repair work (including replacement of components of a system, adding and removal of the failed equipment) without stopping works of data center: the requirement is dictated by specifics of the project – the new DPC was created for the purpose of development of segments of the state system of production, a design and control of passport and visa documents of new generation.

Summary

Creation and equipping of DPC of federal state unitary enterprise Scientific Research Institute Voskhod took place in several stages, including design and delivery of program technical means: systems of uninterrupted power (UPS), uninterruptible power supply (DGU), conditioning system (hard currency), system of gas fire extinguishing, control system of access (ACS), system of cold supply, system of automatic supervisory control (ASDU). After installation of all equipment specialists of Optima Services carried out commissioning on each system separately, performed complex tuning and prepared new DPC for operation.
