To input of new VKS Transmashholding became closer to divisions in regions

Asteros created the system of a video conferencing for Transmashholding company what the press service of the company announced on September 26, 2012.

Prerequisites

Transmashholding (TMH) is the strategic enterprise of the Russian mechanical engineering numbering 11 territorially dispersed divisions through the whole country. For operational contact with colleagues and partners, acceptances of management decisions are necessary for top management of TMH modern digital means of communication. Possibilities of a voice conference based on the IP telephony did not answer requests of the company any more, and the management made the decision on creation of a system of a video conferencing (VIDEOCONFERENCING). The project team was created from representatives of TMH and Asteros company which became the winner of an open tender.

Project

Specialists of the IT company booked audit of infrastructure of an object and offered VKS combining products of two vendors: Cisco and Polycom. Integration of solutions allowed to implement most fully functionality which was required for TMH.

Set

The hall for meetings of head office TMH in Moscow is equipped with two LCD screens and a sound hardware which includes 12 individual microphones and an audiomixer. The main solution is constructed on the equipment Cisco, and use of the Sound Structure audiocomplex from Polycom provided a connectivity of analog telephone subscribers and a managing tach-panel and also control of microphones that allowed to adapt a system to difficult acoustic conditions of the premises.

In meeting rooms the equipment of high definition of HD 720p is installed. With its help audio-and video conferences with simultaneous connection to 20 participants from regions are carried out. At the same time there is a possibility of joining of subscribers from an analog telephone network.

If necessary the meeting can be broadcast on wider audience online. To avoid discrepancies according to the results of negotiations, the recording capability of meetings is provided. In addition to carrying out the general negotiations the staff of divisions can communicate quickly with each other from the jobs using the specialized client software, webcams and microphones.

Details

Implementation of VKS at the central office TMH in Moscow and preparation of the equipment for delivery to regions were performed by forces of Asteros. In regional divisions all systems were mounted and connected to the central server node by specialists of TMH.
