Axis and ITV Retail Solution

In October, 2012 Axis Communications company and ITV - AxxonSoft announced an exit of the joint product Axis and ITV Retail Solution, the complete solution allowing to combine video surveillance and analytics.

Axis and ITV Retail Solution resolves issues in four activities of trade enterprise at once:

• Security. Allows to conduct video surveillance behind a trading floor, adjacent territories, the parking. Helps to control security work and personnel due to interaction with the security and fire systems and control systems of access.
• Fight against losses. Interaction with cash software gives the chance to react to suspicious events directly at the time of action and also to find violations in archive using the powerful system of reports.
• Operating activities. Thanks to such functions of video analytics as calculation of number of visitors and measurement of queue length, there is an opportunity to plan work of shop in general and queues on points of sale, in particular.
• Marketing and merchandising. The modern functionality of video analytics allows to obtain information on routes of movement of buyers on the shop territory, on the most loaded passes and on dead bands.
