The implementation project of a warehouse management system is implemented in GEODIS Russia company

The European logistic corporation GEODIS started implementation WMS Logistics Vision Suite, reported ant Technologies - integrator in this project, on October 2, 2012.

Tasks

Adhering to the principles of personal approach to each client and the organization of services of proper quality at start of a new warehouse complex of 30,000 sq.m. of GEODIS made the decision on automation of warehouse spaces by means of system implementation of management of the warehouse Logistics Vision Suite.

Unilever – one of the main bailors of a warehouse. Tuning of functionality of a system is performed under tasks of this company, the including requirements of ensuring traffic control of products of the company in compliance with standards and rules of the producer:

• Acceptance and quality control of products from productions;
• Distribution and shipment to distribution and retail networks;
• Acceptance with quality control and existence of appropriate certificates and certificates of quality;
• Management in compliance with the SAP Storage Location parameters and the corresponding statuses;
• Accounting and management of batches;
• Assembly and shipment of orders to compliance with criteria of quality and requirements of distributor and client network;
• Integration with a corporate system of Unilever.

Solution

The project started in June of the current year, the project team of ant Technologies works according to the approved work plan, project finish is planned for the end of 2012. In the course of implementation the customer will listen to a number of detailed trainings on training of the employees involved in work with the WMS system, directed to obtaining skills in use of a system on different sections of operation and the LVS setup. Upon completion of an implementation project of a warehouse management system specialists of Unilever will be able fully to break to work in the Logistics Vision Suite system.
