SDS-Azot masters the upgraded IT infrastructure at new office

The LanKey company implemented the project on the organization of IT infrastructure on new office space of JSC SDS-Azot, the press service of the company integrator reported on October 5, 2012.

Task

Due to the moving to new office it was required to the customer:

• unroll IT infrastructure on new office space,
• organize connection of the active, telecommunication and telephone equipment which is available for the customer used at old office.

In addition, in new premises to construct a complex of the systems ensuring a full-fledged work of office:

• structured cabling system
• data transmission system
• system of telephone communication
• processing system and data transmissions
• no break power supply system
• system of network interconnection

The project was complicated by limited time frames since the customer located only one week for moving. Besides, an object differed in unusual architecture: the new office JSC SDS-Azot is in opposite wings of one building, on 5 and 7 floors.

Solution

The complex of works on installation of the necessary systems and integration of the equipment of the customer into the mounted systems is developed and executed. The new office partially was already equipped with a structured cabling system, on 5 and 7 floors in counter parties of the building switching ports for connection of jobs were placed, but between cabinets there were no trunk channels.

Erection teams of LanKey carried out main cables, having connected among themselves cabinets. In server rooms the active, network and server hardware of the customer is set and entered into work, server are integrated by communication fiber lines.

Result

Result of the implemented project: the modern, failsafe and scalable IT infrastructure meeting all business needs of the customer. On completion of works all executive project documentation was transferred to the customer. Installation of systems were executed according to the existing regulations of security and with respect for the world and domestic quality standards. All works are performed strictly in time and without deviation from technical specifications and the project documentation, despite compressed time frames and architectural complexity of an object.
