In DHL Global Forwarding company corporate systems of DHL are used. However these systems are not intended for detailed operational accounting of activity of the Russian representative offices.

In view of growth of volume of transportations the management of DHL Global Forwarding organized the tender for implementation of an automated system. First of all this system had to automate the direction of sea/ocean transportations. Based on the tender the DHL Logistics company selected Antegra consulting company. As a basis of the developed automated system was the system developed earlier based on software "1C: Trade Management 8 + CRM", used by department of air transportation of DHL Logistika LLC took.

Solution

And "DHL Logistics" were jointly described by specialists of "Antegra consulting" business processes of an ocean freight from sale and pricing before operational maintenance of transportation and its closing both in operational, and in the financial plan. According to the description of business processes the technical specifications on development of an automated system were developed. Technical specifications specialists of "Antegra consulting" completely developed a system of accounting of activity of DHL Logistics company.

A system automates sections:

• Operational maintenance of the course of rendering services:
• Transportation status monitoring;
• Control of formation of primary documentation;
• Providing necessary reports on the transportation course to clients.

Accounting of financial performance of transportation:

• Pricing;
• Planning of financial performance of transportation;
• Registration of the actual financial performance (the account entering, proceeding);
• Plan-fact analysis.

Integration with other corporate systems of DHL:

• Russian accounting;
• International systems of DHL;
• The systems of tracking of loads used by clients.

Now trial operation of a system in sea/ocean freight is conducted. Further transfer to the system of the divisions which are engaged in air transportation developed by specialists "Antegra consulting" is planned.

Result

In a project deliverable the DHL Global Forwarding company received the system which is completely answering to all tasks and developed taking into account specifics of activity of the Customer. This system allows to work quickly with the current projects, to monitor the course of their accomplishment with a possibility of report generation; in a system accounting of financial performance on the rendered services is implemented; besides, the developed system is integrated with corporate systems of DHL, the client systems of tracking of the movement of loads that allows to work in unified information environment of operational and financial accounting of transportations. Number of users of a system of 55 people.
