Live Partition Mobility - the Unix servers function allowing to select segments in memory and on the hard drive of servers based on Power6 processors which will be available to all operating systems working on the server at once.
Live Partition Mobility works with virtualized by AIX 5.2 and 5.3 OS and also with Linux OS, in particular with Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Suse Enterprise Linux.
Similar function is offered by VMware company (VMotion), however IBM proposes the solution for Unix servers that is not done by VMware.
