Failure in the Moscow DPC of VimpelCom by 15-30 on October 18, 2012 was completely eliminated, this TAdviser was announced by the press secretary of the company Anna Aybasheva.
On the official page of the operator in Facebook social network in the morning the message about failure in the Moscow data processing center and that more than 90% of services are unavailable to subscribers appeared on October 18, 2012. Also subscribers from Cherepovets and Ulyanovsk spoke about problems with access to services of the operator.
The correspondent of TAdvuser personally could not refill in the morning balance, send SMS and a MMS of the message, to connect to the Internet from the mobile phone in the Moscow network of VimpelCom.
Anna Aybasheva told TAdviser that by 13 o'clock the problem was contained and by 15-30 services are completely recovered. She refused to speak about the causes of the accident. "Now the group which will analyze failure will be created and to look for its reasons", - she told. Also Anna Aybasheva found it difficult to answer to what subscribers of regions services of the operator were unavailable.
She did not begin to comment on technical characteristics of DPC.
The analysts polled by TAdviser reported what the reasons of failure can be quite a lot. Generally it is failure of the final equipment or a malfunction with a cable.
It is not the first failure in DPC of the operator in October. The previous failure occurred on October 11, 2012.
