"NIT" signs the agreement on consulting support with IBM

Content

JSC Natsionalnye informatsionnye tekhnologii announces transition to a transformational stage of implementation of the electronic government. As a basis the solution IBM WebSphere is used, the company reported on October 19, 2012.

Solution

The egov.kz portal based on the solutions IBM WebSphere provides access to 128 types of service, provided by 17 state departments of Kazakhstan. The portal performs more than 30 thousand transactions daily, providing 24/7 electronic services regardless of location of the user.

For integration of information systems of state agencies of Kazakhstan at the portal the gateway of the electronic government based on the solution IBM WebSphere Integration via which operational request processing of citizens is performed is started. Via the gateway of the electronic government interaction of the state databases – the register of the real estate and the address register, databases of physical persons and legal entities is performed. Data protection, circulating in different information systems, is provided thanks to implementation of the unified protected transport environment for state bodies (UTS of GO).

"Implementation of technologies of the electronic government guarantees simple and online access to public services in an electronic format and provides citizens with the instrument of control. Our purpose for the next years — to make possible receiving all socially important complex services on the portal of the electronic government. Until the end of 2012 60% of socially important services, and by the end of 2013 — all 100% will be automated", – Ruslan Ensebayev, the chairman of the board of JSC Natsionalnye informatsionnye tekhnologii noted.

Support of the project

On December 19, 2013 JSC NIT announced conclusion of an agreement with IBM corporation according to which the corporation will provide services in expanded technical support of the portal.

Project components

Within the program of expanded support of IBM provides the integrated set of services which helps NIT with maintenance and optimization of use of software products of IBM. The program means direct contact with specialists of a support service of IBM, technical maintenance of infrastructure, the help in planning and also organization of events on knowledge transfer.

Besides, for the Customer the uniform contact person is fixed in a support service of IBM that significantly simplifies process of interaction of JSC NIT and IBM.
