Dell Desktop as a Service (DaaS)

In October, 2012 Dell announced a number of new and advanced solutions for the organization of cloud jobs which provide to the organization a wide choice in implementation methods, managements, deployment and access to virtual environment of calculations using products of VMware. Now the zero and thin clients of Dell developed on the basis of achievements in the field of cloud computing support the product VMware View with the PCoIP protocol and also the solutions DaaS with support of PCoIP and affiliate programs in Europe.

DaaS are available in Great Britain, France, Germany and the Netherlands – based on data center of Dell in Slough (Great Britain) which provides continuous availability of the provided applications. With DaaS, customers can focus only on management of OS, applications and the user profiles, leaving infrastructure management of VDI of Dell company. This solution gives to IT departments the chance to be scaled flexibly - from several to thousands supported users, - provides access from different devices, simplifies deployments of the desktop systems of virtualization and management and provides the predictable monthly price. The cost of one workplace of DaaS in a month is from 35 euros, 29 pounds sterling or 36 US dollars.

Now with the solution Dell DaaS customers can select the PCoIP protocol which is used by VMware View and to get exclusive experience of remote work with a multimedia content of high resolution, complete picture frequency for 3D - graphics, HD of audio, several big displays and ample opportunities of use of USB of the periphery.
