The Komos Group group uses WMS technology for automation of a logistic complex

The LogistiX company completed automation of a logistic complex of KOMOS GROUP, the press service of the company reported on October 22, 2012. The product of implementation is the WMS solution Lead WMS.

Purposes and result

"The specifics of the project are that on small squares, about 1200 square meters, are shipped in day of 80 tons of products. It is more than a half – small-pieces weight goods which set is made on the specialized mobile the automated jobs (AJ) moving along the front of gravitational racks. According to the analysis which is carried out by us, in a month after start of WMS performance of individual employees on such automated workplaces was 30% higher planned", - Dmitry Blinov, the technical director of LogistiX noted.

"A system successfully sustained a stress test, and now we systematically increase volumes of products processed by a warehouse complex to reach the planned result. Indicators which we have today already speak about success of the project, - Dmitry Filinov, the commercial director of KOMOS GROUP emphasized. - As a result of cooperation with LogistiX we received the complex project, beginning from technology of cargo handling and the sketch of arrangement of the equipment before implementation of processes of management of operational logistics and maintenance of work of a warehouse. Such approach allowed to eliminate possible risks, connected, including with involvement of certain contractors at different stages of the project".

Details

The complex under control of LEAD WMS specializes in work with the weight cooled products. Each batch is accepted taking into account data on date of development, weight, date of acceptance that allows to observe necessary terms of sales of goods for 100%. The areas for processing of the cooled products on technology of cross docking are provided.

In premises of the center conveyors for handling works, pipelines, weight complexes and automated workplaces are installed. Due to automation of KOMOS GROUP is going to increase performance of work of a warehouse complex that will allow to guarantee the high level of customer service quality, as a result, to increase company competitiveness.
