The Norilsk city council of deputies completes implementation of EDMS and plans its development

About the beginning of the project on workflow automation based on EDMS "CASE" accepted Norilsk city council of deputies (NGSD). Integrator in the project the company KS-Consulting.

The Norilsk City Council selected the solution for workflow automation observing implementations at colleagues. For representative bodies of the territory it not the first implementation – EDMS "DELO" successfully works in the Lesosibirsk city council of Krasnoyarsk Krai.

At the time of inspection of the operating document flow in the City Council document registration was conducted in the special program representing only a form of accounting of the entering and outgoing documents. Shortcomings of such solution can be listed infinitely: the program is extremely limited according to search details, does not provide exchange of electronic documents, does not allow to attach files, to make references to the connected documents and so forth.

All these restrictions in use of the program led "CASE" to the decision on system implementation.

The management of Council as first-priority set the following tasks:

• automation of internal document flow;
• reduction of number of paper copies of documents;
• tracking of the movement and control of execution of documents;
• organize work with draft documents in EDMS and fix their movement in a system;
• provide an opportunity to attach electronic images of documents to a registration card;
• provide with means of EDMS interaction with city administration.

At this stage the decision to automate 14 jobs is made. First of all registration of all main document groups should be configured. Then control of execution of documents and instructions in the office of Council will be adjusted.

Start of a system in production operation was announced on December 5, 2012 by the press service of the company integrator.

In the office of the Norilsk City Council at this stage of implementation tasks are solved:

• automation of registration of the main document groups;
• ensuring control of execution of documents and instructions in the office of Council;
• scanning of the main document groups with attachment of electronic images to RK (the option "Line Scanning" is purchased).

Since November 19 registration of all documents is performed in the CASE system.
