JSC NIAEP creates new technology on the platform of three-dimensional design

Dassault Systèmes announced on October 25, 2012 end of the first stage of strategic partnership with JSC NIAEP which result was a development of Multi-D technology. At the heart of it, according to the statement of partners, the CATIA technology lies.

Solution

Using software applications of platform 3DEXPERIENCE (CATIA ENOVIA i DELMIA), JSC NIAEP developed Multi-D technology which allows to model in details construction processes on the basis of information 3D model of an object. As a result it is possible to reduce time of construction and to reduce costs, to increase efficiency, quality and reliability of the NPPs constructed by JSC NIAEP.

"Making a start from the unique Dassault Systèmes platform, we developed the solution which for the first time allowed to integrate technology, design and construction parts in a uniform information model of the NPP" - Valery Limarenko, the director of JSC NIAEP, management company of Atomstroyexport Ltd noted. - Until recently in the world there was no information system integrating work of designers, technologists, builders. Using platform 3DEXPERIENCE we created a unified environment of interaction and data exchange. The information 3D models created based on CATIA will allow to release the automated method the work documentation in the near future, also they are initial data for technology of optimization of a construction Multi-D".

Result

Became NIAEP the first company which developed a management system for lifecycle of nuclear power station. She turns on design management, in particular, creation and change of a 3D model and management of constructions, field engineering, purchase management and deliveries, commissioning of the object and its further operation and an output of the station from operation. NIAEP uses the new platform for creation of the NPP based on power units VVER-TOI.
