R.V.S. companies and the American corporation Honeywell through joint efforts implement the project on implementation of a corporate MES management system for technology assets of the Siberian generation company.
Purposes and plans
The project will be implemented at the Kuzbassenergo stations and Yenisei TGC. "A project essence – creation of the instrument of operational production management, ensuring transparency of production processes, increases in profitability and competitiveness of business" - Alexander Mertsalov, the head "Optimization and Modelling of TP in Power" of the company of R.V.S. noted.
Within the project it is necessary to install the server hardware and the software for implementation of MES level at head offices SGK, in management personnel and at the Kuzbassenergo stations and Yenisei TGC.
Key project tasks: the organization of uniform corporate storage of technology information on the SGK production branches, process automation of calculation of technical and economic indicators of work of power plants, planning of structures and the modes of the working equipment, operational management of the current modes, performance management of fuel usage at power plants.
Important advantage of use of MES systems to the generation company – a possibility of tracking of efficiency of the equipment and management of repairs. A system accumulates and stores history of the taken place events (failures, reduction of performance, etc.) for use in diagnosing arisen and warnings of possible problems.
Control function by production provides report generation about the actual results of work of production, their comparison with data of other periods and the expected commercial result. Results include indicators of utilization coefficients of resources, resource availability, compliance to the plan and compliance to standards of functioning.
During the course of performance the project creation of a corporate portal of the company in which the data on efficiency of the equipment, its status given about fuel consumption will be online provided is supposed: the volume and costs in a cash equivalent.
The project of similar technology level and scale in Russia is implemented for the first time.
