StarForce E-Mail

The StarForce company, the Russian developer of software solutions in the field of control and protection of programs and electronic information against leaks, copying and illegal distribution, announced in October, 2012 an exit of the latest product — StarForce E-Mail. The product is intended for protection and control of use of the confidential information enclosed the e-mail in the form of the attached file — the document.

The product allows to protect confidential investments of e-mail from unauthorized viewing, copying, modification and use and also to control who and when gets access to the protected investment transferred by mail.

According to developers, StarForce E-Mail automatically protects the electronic document enclosed to the letter and does not demand any additional actions from the sender. As a result the e-mail with the protected investment comes to the receiver and at the time of the first opening of an investment becomes attached to a configuration of the computer of the receiver. Thus, confidential information from an investment cannot be opened on any other computer, except the receiver's computer.

After the first opening by the receiver of contents of an investment, the sender obtains information on the one who, where and when received dostupk to confidential data of an investment, thereby controlling the receiver. Information becomes available via the web interface of the activation StarForce server in real time, explained in StarForce company.

The product consists of several server components which can be set both in a local setiorganization, and on the party of StarForce. Among them: server of enciphering of investments and server of activation of documents and statistics of viewings.
