The Huawei company announced on October 29, 2012 completion of construction of network of a video conferencing for the Ilim Group.

The Huawei company designated by the project a task - to create convenient and fast means of corporate video communications for holding business meetings, lectures and remote training of employees and also to provide a possibility of a combination of new functionality to the VIDEOCONFERENCING operative equipment of the customer.

Terms of reference and implementation

The Huawei company suggested to create network of a video conferencing of high definition based on the latest developments - group VP9030-1080r terminals and the switch of a video conferencing of MCU, VP9620. This solution was also selected by the Ilim Group for consolidation in a single network of a video conferencing of three regional branches of the company from the cities of Ust-Ilimsk, Koryazhma and Bratsk with the headquarters in St. Petersburg. Supply of equipment to the customer was performed by Asteros company.

According to Valery Sokolyuk, the director of the department of telecommunication solutions of Asteros company, Huawei there is a strong and known brand whose solutions proved in the market long ago. The broad spectrum of the equipment allowed the customer to pick up an optimal solution under its tasks and the budget. "The created system of a video conferencing differs in reliability and meets the functional requirements of the Ilim Group — he emphasized.

Result

Use of technology of transfer of the video image of high definition, broadband sound and high-precision images of auxiliary documents in the course of implementing solution of a video conferencing, provided effect of remote presence for holding meetings of managing office with regional branches.
