MBOU lyceum No. 9 deploys the portal educational solution

AstroSoft completed implementation of the educational portal on the platform of the solution of Liferay company in lyceum No. 9, the press service of integrator reported on October 29, 2012.

Solution

A system represents the flexible universal solution allowing pupils of those classes which are engaged according to the elective program to create the educational program by means of the choice of disciplines, the author's programs offered by educational institution. The portal includes such modules as "The diary of the pupil", "The magazine of the teacher", Schedule, Management of schedule and "The designer of educational programs". The software package can perform functions of internal social network of educational institution, acting as the platform for joint activity and communication.

Product

As the platform developers AstroSoft selected the Liferay portal which meeting the requirements of the customer and project objectives is an opensource-product that reduces implementation cost at the expense of the free license. The created solution allowed to automate basic processes of study, information and organizational tasks, including to prepare base for system implementation of electronic document management to which in 2012 should pass all educational institutions of the country.

Trial operation of a system is begun in September, 2012, full-scale deployment of the portal took place in the first week of October.
