The Moscow City Telephone Network upgrades to the new version of a corporate system of management from SAP

The SAP CIS company announced on October 29, 2012 putting into operation of the updated information system on the basis of the SAP solution ERP in JSC MGTS. The contractor in the project - SAP Consulting.

Goal

"MGTS implements unprecedented for Russia and Europe in terms of the scope of the project for development of fiber-optic network now based on GPON technology which gives to residents of Moscow access to essentially new services - to digital television, high-speed Internet access, digital telephony, fire protection, video surveillance and telemetry. In the company there are conversions connected with implementation of new services, development of channels of service which require support of the most modern IT solutions having reserves for development in a business growth measure", – the director of exploitation of IT of MGTS Victor Durygin noted.

Based on SAP solutions entered a framework of upgrade of a corporate system following functionality: finance, management of fixed assets, financial management, tax accounting and elements of the GAAP reporting, treasury, controlling, management of capital construction, logistics and document flow.
