2021: Reorganisation and Termination of Operations
Orenburg state the "socio-political archive" stories ceased to exist as a result of reorganization in the form of a merger GBU "State Archive of the Orenburg Region" from September 16, 2021.
2017: Renamed the "Orenburg State Archive of Socio-Political History"
In August 2017, by the Decree of the Governor of the Orenburg Region Yuri Berg, the "Center for Documentation of the Latest History of the Orenburg Region" was renamed the "Orenburg State Archive of Socio-Political History"[1]
2004: Creation of the "Center for Documentation of the Latest History of the Orenburg Region"
The state budgetary institution "Center for Documentation of the Recent History of the Orenburg Region" (TsDNIOO) was created in 2004 on the basis of the Decree of the Head of the Orenburg Region. The tasks of the archive were:
- collection of archival documents, the composition of which is provided for by the archive regulation;
- organization of accounting and preservation of archival documents;
- creation and maintenance of a scientific reference apparatus for archive documents;
- use of documents stored in the archive.
