The RightScale company providing to state structures the cloud platform of management of Cloud Computing Management Platform announced in the fall of 2012 official support of the OpenStack project at deployment of client applications in a cloud.

Cloud Computing Management Platform is applied as a link between client applications (mainly, state companies) and server cloud framework of provider. When using this cloud platform simple remote access to the client applications at placement on servers in a cloud cluster is provided to users via the control panel.

It is expected that accession of RightScale to alliance will give an additional impulse to development of the OpenStack project. Besides, this step demonstrates that the RightScale company is ready to provide to the clients support at deployment of applications with the open code on the cloud platform of OpenStack selected by them.


Before RightScale supported the platform of one of players of the cloud Rackspace market. However in the summer of 2012 the Rackspace company started the new platform on the basis of cloud infrastructure of OpenStack and in the future is going to transfer to it the most part of the resources. Probably, taking into account such realities and perspective plans the RightScale company announced support of a cloud platform of Rackspace on the basis of OpenStack.

And kind of in addition to support of transition of Rackspace to new cloud infrastructure the company joined sponsors of all OpenStack project.

Active development, development and promotion of own Cloud Computing Management Platform platform which is integrated with several cloud clusters and allows users to control deployment of applications in a cloud using one control panel, the RightScale company is engaged since 2006. And during this time, according to RightScale company, her clients (mainly, from state structures) started more than 4.7 million servers in tens thousands cloud clusters.
