The project of the engineering systems for the airport of Belgorod

The Infromsvyaz company completed in the fall of 2012 the works on design of engineering and information systems for the international airport in Belgorod.

The airport in Belgorod is spare airfield of the Moscow air area. It is capable to perform acceptance of airplanes at any time, under any weather conditions. Capacity of the airport makes 100 passengers per hour. At the maximum load the airport can provide up to 16 runway transactions per hour.

It is performed implementations of the state program on upgrade of the airport of Belgorod for the purpose of creation on its base of one more national international air hub capable to perform the international air transportation. At the moment the works on expansion and lengthening of a runway and its technology upgrade are completed. In October, 2012 the airport accepted the first foreign run.

Along with it construction of the new building of air terminal complex for service of passengers of the international runs with a total area more than 12,000 sq.m. is conducted. Input it in operation will allow to increase capacity of the airport in Belgorod up to 450 people per hour (up to 300 people - on internal runs and up to 150 people - on the international runs).

Within the signed agreement the Infromsvyaz company performed design of engineering and technical infrastructure of the new building of air terminal.

Total length of the SCS system was more than 50 km. The local computer network included a connectivity more than 600 ports. Control of a situation in the building of air terminal will be controlled by the centralized system of video surveillance including more than 200 IP cameras.

The end-to-end system of security of air terminal implemented based on the latest developments of digital technologies included:

• control and management system for access;
• system of security and disturbing signaling;
• fire alarm system;
• system of water and gas fire extinguishing;
• system of smoke removal and fire-retardant valves;
• warning system and managements of evacuation;

In total 26 systems ensuring life support and smooth operation of all services of the international airport, including heating systems, ventilation and conditioning, water supply, power supply, automatic telephone exchange, electromaster clock system, visual informing passengers, etc. were designed.

All systems of air terminal were implemented on the equipment of world leading manufacturers – Siemens, Schneider, ABB, Cisco, Panasonic, Avaya, etc. The project of the IP-telephonies system was implemented based on hardware-software the Cisco Unified Communication Manager (UCM) complex.
