The company the Trunk Power Grids (TPG) of the South completed installation of the communication fiber line (CFL) on the high-voltage line of 220 kV Bryukhovetskaya – Kanevskaya.
Result
On the route of the line of 220 kV Bryukhovetskaya – Kanevskaya 48.2 km of the optical fiber cable which is built in a lightning-protective rope of a transmission line are mounted. The solution allows to transfer with a high speed information from devices of relay protection and automatic equipment, the automated information measuring system of commercial electricity metering, process control systems to Command centers MES networks of the South.
As a result of project implementation reliability of power supply of inhabitants of the central and northwest parts of Krasnodar Krai and also large consumers in the region among whom there are JSC Kanevskoy zavod gazovoy apparatury, Poultry Processing Plant Kanevskoy Ltd, Bryukhovetsky Concentrated Milk Plant Ltd and others increased.
"The fiber line of communication allowed to transfer substations of 220 kV Bryukhovetskaya and Kanevskaya to digital data transmission technologies. It allowed to increase efficiency of technology management of power facilities, - the head of department of exploitation of the fiber-optic communication line of the Kuban PMES Alexey Timchenko noted. – The fiber-optic communication line is provided by an opportunity to transfer to 300 times more information, with a speed of 1000 times above, than high-frequency communication and allows to organize additional communication channels. Besides, such communication line has high security from unauthorized access and is steady against electromagnetic interferences".
Transfer and acceptance of the flows of operational and dispatching, technology and corporate information arriving on the fiber-optic communication line will be provided by the modern equipment of digital information transmission systems installed on power objects.
