Rostelecom made expansion of regional channels of a virtual private network (Virtual Private Network, VPN) L3 level for JSB Absolyut - one of the leading Russian banks which recently entered in TOP-30 the best retail banks. Besides, considering the large volume of transmitted data, Rostelecom provided to JSB Absolyut unlimited tariffing of communication services.

The conclusion of the new contract became continuation of mutually beneficial cooperation within which Rostelecom created the protected corporate network IP VPN which integrated 18 bank branches for Absolute earlier. The network connected two central points in Moscow to bank branches in the different cities of Russia: St. Petersburg, Chelyabinsk, Omsk, Rostov-on-Don, Krasnodar, etc.

Use of IP VPN L3 will allow JSB Absolyut to perform transfer of any kinds of data to the different offices of bank located through the whole country. Employees of the bank will also be able to use convenient internal telephony by short numbers.

Rostelecom provides service to the organization of a virtual private network (IP VPN L3) based on own extensive network of IP MPLS that guarantees high quality of data services. Besides, use of MPLS network of Rostelecom allows our clients to reduce costs for creation of own telecom infrastructure", - the Chief executive – the director of work with corporate clients of JSC Rostelecom Olga Rumyantseva says.

Capacity of own network of package switching (IP/MPLS) of Rostelecom is about 2 Tbit / page. High parameters of reliability and availability of network are provided due to reservation and optimization of traffic flows and guaranteed by the Agreement on the service level (SLA). Besides, Rostelecom has the certificate of conformity of network of package switching to requirements of information security of the Federal Service for Technical and Export Control (FSTEC OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION).

The VPN organization from Rostelecom at any level is possible: local, regional, federal and international. Connection to network is performed at speeds up to 1 Gbps in regions of Russia and up to 10 Gbps - in the territory of Moscow and St. Petersburg.
