The position of the chairman and chief executive officer of Ipsen company borrows since November, 2010.
Mark de Garidel is 52 years old, he ended "Ecole Spéciale des Travaux Publics" (school of special civil engineering) and received degree at Thunderbird School business school (Arizona, the USA).
He started the career in 1983 in group of pharmaceutical companies Eli Lilly. Held different positions, connected, generally with financing - in France, then in the USA and, at last, in Germany.
In 1995 he joined the American biotechnology Amgen group as the vice president for finance and treasury in the European representation. In 1998 it was appointed the vice president for control over corporate expenses and the chief accountant to Amgen headquarters in California.
In 2000 offered it a position of the vice president and general manager for France.
In 2006 De Garidel is appointed the vice president for the southwest of Europe (France, Spain, Belgium and Portugal).
Since 2007 and until recently under Mark de Garidel's control there is all Southern region. In its structure the markets of Southern Europe, emerging markets: EMEA and Latin America.
In this position he headed the largest region in Amgen International with sales volume more than $1.5 billion.
