The second DPC is under construction, according to Chernov in order that in 2013 the Government of Moscow refused lease.
The DPC under construction will be is in the area of the Mountain metro station.

2015: Replacement of the equipment is probable
On September 29, 2015 the department of information technologies (DIT) of Moscow announced the probability of replacement of the American equipment in a data processing center[1] with the Chinese].
"ETsHD completely with all equipment belongs to us, the main capacities were bought about four years ago when we began to build a new system, and operation really strongly rose in price therefore we look narrowly at the equipment of different vendors now, including Chinese, but there is no haste while we have enough capacities. The phase of active growth of a video surveillance system is already passed — now broadcasting arrives from more than 140 thousand cameras, and their number will considerably not grow any more" — Elena Novikova, the press secretary of department told.
According to media, the volume of storage of ETsHD for September 30, 2015 reached 20 PBytes. The equipment did not exhaust the value therefore department has time for studying of the equipment of different vendors. Preferably what will allow to save on service in the future. But there is no urgent need for updating for September 30, 2015 especially as a system passed a phase of active growth and the number of cameras essentially will not change any more.
In DPC of video surveillance, according to statements of DIT the equipment of EMC and Cisco is mainly involved. Concerning software - in management of a city video surveillance system foreign developments are not used "long time".
The product Cisco VSM was forced out by the solution iStream of vendor Netris. According to DIT, process began long before import substitution became a trend and is connected more likely with desire to increase system performance.
Officials do not expatiate on financial scales of the project, but it is possible to judge them by the sizes nekotoryz the existing tenders of DIT connected with ensuring activity of ETsHD. In particular, the starting price of the technical support contract of its functional and technology subsystems - 117 million rubles, on complex program and technical to maintenance of users — about 50 million, on delivery of certificates to providing a service guarantee and technical support of the equipment and software — 150 million rubles, on service maintenance of client-server and general-system software, application servers and a hardware complex — about 84 million rubles.
DIT usually purchases IT services, i.e. does not own and does not service the equipment independently. So, the department places information systems of the social block and the Uniform medical information and analytical system (in total about 200 systems) in DPC which services are provided on outsourcing model.
The press service of the Chinese vendor of Huawei refused to comment on possible negotiations with DIT of Moscow.
"In particular, we are ready to interaction with the Moscow Department of Information Technology on the basis of competitive procedures if their plans and projects on upgrade and change of the equipment of the American vendors in the DPCs are defined" — Tigran Pogosyan, the senior vice president of ZTE Communication Technologies for Russia said.
The capital video surveillance system is constructed in three years. At the end of 2011 the Moscow government held six competitions, having selected at them three winners who were engaged in the different districts of Moscow in control of places of mass accumulation of people (three tenders separated on districts) and domestic territories with entrances (three more tenders). Comcor (Akado trademark), MGTS and "National Cable Networks" (NCN) became them.
