Alekseev Yury Fedorovich - the former Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation - the chief of Investigative department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation.

Biography

Born in 1962 in Tashtagol of the Kemerovo region, Russia.

Education

1988 - graduated from the Leningrad state university of A.A. Zhdanov in Jurisprudence.

Career

1988 - 2000 - served in bodies of prosecutor's office of the Arkhangelsk region, holding positions of the assistant prosecutor, investigator, prosecutor, deputy prosecutor of the region.

Since 2000 - worked in the Main Investigation Department of the Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation.

2001 - it is appointed to the position of the deputy head of department on supervision of the investigation, inquiry and operational search activity in law-enforcement bodies of the Main Investigation Department of the State Office of Public Prosecutor of the Russian Federation - the head of department of supervision of investigation of especially important issues in the Investigative Committee (IC) at the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation.

September, 2001 - - served July, 2011 in law-enforcement bodies.

2004 - 2011 - the deputy chief of SK at the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation.

Supervised investigation of activity of criminal communities, raider captures.

July, 2011 - returned on service to the State Office of Public Prosecutor of the Russian Federation as the head of department on supervision of performance of laws on federal security, the international relations and counteraction to extremism^[1].

On June 16, 2012 - the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs is appointed - the chief of investigative department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation^[2].

On February 17, 2014 - the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs is dismissed - the chief of investigative department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation^[3].

Social and political activity

On November 27, 2012 - arrived with a working visit to Kemerovo. During the trip participated in an enlarged meeting where issues of the organization of interaction of divisions of law-enforcement bodies, other law-enforcement structures in warning, disclosure and investigation of crimes were discussed. The general Alekseev noted, now the main task is recovery of trust of society to police and law-enforcement bodies in general.
