NetApp Private Storage for AWS

In December, 2012 during the conference "re:" the Netapp company provided to Invent personal storage Netapp Private Storage for AWS, the corporate solution of storage focused on clients of Amazon Elastic Cloud Compute (Amazon EC2). This solution provides advantages of cloud infrastructure in combination with the checked technologies of corporate storage, expanded functions of data protection and guarantees significantly lower costs, than when using standard approaches, and necessary adaptivity in respect of setup of IT resources for achievement of the maximum business results.

In this solution the specialized storage area network of Netapp and a possibility of Amazon EC2 for ensuring computing services on demand and also the Equinix resources — for joint placement of DPC are integrated.
