Orenburgregiongaz (VPN Projects)

Rostelecom created virtual private networks (Virtual Private Network, VPN) and also organized more than 80 points of high-speed Internet access for the largest gas enterprises of the Orenburg region - JSC Orenburgoblgaz and Orenburgregiongaz LLC. Use of fiber optic technology will provide high quality and reliability of the provided services and also will allow to increase network transmission capacity from 4 to 50 Mbps.

The VPN technology allows to integrate geographically distributed departments of the enterprises in the single protected corporate network with a full range of telecommunication services and guaranteed high degree of reliability and also provides significant economy of enterprise assets in comparison with traditional technologies of communication. The constructed VPN will be used by gas companies for ensuring stable operation of corporate IT-systems, corporate telephony and transfer of other types of traffic.
