The Centre corporation completes the project of creation of a system of the analytical reporting

Centre corporation and "Jet Infosystems" on December 6, 2012 announced project completion on creation of a modern system of the analytical reporting based on the platform QlikView Business Discovery.

Objectives

"Until recently we generally used the Microsoft Excel software product. Process of reporting required considerable time expenditure, at the same time a standard set of reports excluded a possibility of deep and versatile information analysis. We needed the BI solution - "core" which would allow to develop independently reports and provided flexible data analysis", – Mikhail Semakin, the director of information technology of Centre Corporation told.

For creation of the Corporation BI system selected the QlikView Business Discovery platform. The Jet Infosystems company having experience of projects implementation based on this platform became the contractor. An important selection term was presence at the system integrator of the connector QlikView-1C of own development.

Solution

Experts of the system integrator using the connector carried out integration of QlikView with a system source – 1C. The connector allowed to simplify significantly data acquisition from an initial system that considerably accelerated setup and development of new reports. Then specialists Jet Infosystems developed two analytical models – for the analysis of purchases and payments by installments. On their basis 9 reports, including for the analysis of dynamics of sales, profitability and expenses, marketing actions, etc. were created.

"Development of analytical models and system implementation were carried out iteratsionno: in process of creation of reports we transferred them to the customer for trial operation. Thus, specialists of Centre Corporation made the wishes and offers on the course of development of reports. Such approach allowed to optimize work and to complete implementation in the shortest terms – in 4 months. We trained the customer's IT specialists at the final stage in independent development of reports in a system", – Anna Kharitonova, the head of department of the business analysis of Centre of software solutions of Jet Infosystems company noted.
