The CROC company upgraded own system of business planning in several hundred workplaces. The project allowed to simplify significantly transactions, to reduce time of business planning, multilevel approval and the approval of the sales budget and also to increase quality of information.

The previous planning and budgeting system developed in 2006 ceased to correspond to requirements of the company as business of CROC grew by two and a half times since then and was seriously diversified in the directions and the budgeted parameters. A year ago it was decided to optimize business planning processes, it demanded review of methodology of budgeting and new approaches to automation in general.

"In planning process we stake on the organic growth therefore we first of all consider possibilities of our sales managers, but we do not set plans on top, - Pavlenko Alexey notes, the Chief information officer of CROC company, - As such business planning process does not keep within functionality of the majority of budgeting systems, we analyzed several months what of the options presented at the market will demand smaller completion. At some point even seriously inclined to custom development. As a result found the uncommon, but completely answering to our tasks solution - integrated in real time a budgeting system of IBM Cognos TM1 and a corporate CRM system of CROC. Thanks to our integration platform and a management system for the normative reference information NSI integration of systems managed to be made "seamless".
"The possibility of budgeting using two different interfaces considerably expanded functionality of a new system. IBM Cognos TM1 Web made the most available perception of irregular budget shapes, became even more convenient to the table. And IBM Cognos Contributor allowed to control passing of budget process at all levels of approval, to analyze and check data from the different points of view: heads of the directions, sales managers, directors and economists of departments. The portal of a corporate system became uniform access point of users to all interfaces. Algorithms of process of budgeting of sales of CROC are updated. And "seamless integration" allows to carry out the plan fact the analysis on projects online", - Maxim Andreyev, the head of business applications of CROC company tells.
