In December, 2012 the NVision Group company (Nvision Group branch) started development of the telemedicine system integrating six largest hospitals of the Nizhny Novgorod Region. The right to implementation of this project is acquired based on an open competition of macroregional branch "Volga" of JSC Rostelecom.
System implementation of telemedicine (TM) will provide a possibility of consultations and remote diagnostics of inhabitants of the regional centers, and doctors, thanks to modern technologies, will be able to study and exchange remotely experience with colleagues.
Under the terms of the contract specialists NVision Group will construct the IT infrastructure including a complex of a video conferencing and software and hardware tools of leading manufacturers of TM-solutions: Kraftway, Avaya, Juniper and Polycom. Transfer of images of high resolution (High Definition) will provide effect of "virtual presence": health workers will be able to discuss diagnoses in real time, to control procedures, to plan transactions and many other things.
