The company of SPb-Giproshakht implements BIM technologies in design processes and constructions

The project and consulting company of SPb-Giproshakht implements the project on implementation of BIM technology (Building Information Modeling) in design process and constructions of mining and processing complexes. Consulting works, delivery of the software and technical support within the project were executed by the St. Petersburg engineering and consulting company [[PSS (Petrostroysistema)|PSSJ, the company contractor reported on December 13, 2012.

Approach

"The project on implementation 3D - modeling was started by SPb-Giproshakht LLC in 2010. 3D - technologies represent the most perspective way to increase in accuracy and quality of works, especially at design of difficult technology objects, - Egor Renyov, the CEO of SPb-Giproshakht LLC noted. – 3D - tools are necessary, first of all, for improvement of quality of interaction of project participants, planning and execution of project works. Further the information 3D models of designed projects implemented using BIM technology will provide a possibility of use of such management tools with projects as 4D and 5D that, undoubtedly, will be interesting to our customers".

For project implementation the software packages Factory Design Suite, Building Design Suite including the 3D tools - design based on solutions were implemented Autodesk Inventor Autodesk Revit Autodesk Navisworks. Integration of BIM technology with project management systems and the system of engineering document flow of the company is in the future planned.
