Content

The network of hypermarkets of children's goods of Wonderful Yudo completed the implementing solution "1C: Trade Management 8" with direct participation of BUSINESS SOLUTIONS company, the press service of integrator reported on December 13, 2012.

Previously

Growth of number of shops of network demanded from the enterprise of reorganization of business processes, increase in their efficiency. The previous information system working at the 1C: Enterprise 7.7 platform was used 12 years, but by 2011 ceased to correspond to the scale and tasks of the enterprise, began to slow down development of network. The decision on replacement of automated information system was made. Considering long positive experience of the enterprise with the 1C: Enterprise platform, for creation of new automated information system the system of the programs "1C:Enterprise 8" was selected.

The management of the enterprise realized complexity of a solvable task. For its solution the BUSINESS SOLUTIONS company is selected. Specialists of the company suggested to use project approach with preliminary deep study of a task and methodical preparation of future automated information system (AIS).

Solution

At the initial stage methodical study for the purpose of studying of business processes of the enterprise, their adjustment and comparison to functionality of the standard configuration "1C: Trade Management 8" edition 11 based on which the AIS was created is carried out. The project is begun in September, 2011.

Requirements to transfer and converting of information from the previous system in new were developed taking into account changes of structure of the normative reference information, changes in business processes, and with observance of requirements of a transient period.

The plan of transition according to which start of the AIS was executed at the central office on January 8, 2012 is developed. The distribution warehouse and the first hypermarket began work in a new system since January 9. By January 15 five hypermarkets worked in the new AIS.

Transition to the new AIS took 8 days, and all project lasted 8 months - from September, 2011 to April, 2012.

Results

In May, 2012 the project is successfully complete. The distributed information base having 7 nodes is created, 53 jobs, including 30 jobs in five hypermarkets, 20 jobs at the central office and 3 jobs in a distribution warehouse are automated.

The director of the company Oksana Kulaga noted: "At present at our enterprise modern hi-tech automated information system is used. Very important the fact that this system increases efficiency of the enterprise in general helps with work to all employees – merchandisers, storekeepers, cashiers, accountants, administrators. Finally it positively affects customer service quality that is very important point in our work. Now we feel that development of our enterprise is not limited to opportunities of an automated system. Thanks to opportunities of 1C:Enterprise 8 we received tools for the analysis of results of our activity. If earlier we had only an idea of many things, then now we have an opportunity to calculate and measure activity indicators".

As a result of a complex implementation project all basic processes of the enterprise are automated. Transition to a new system took only 8 days. A new system allowed to increase efficiency of all divisions, to increase service quality of buyers. The enterprise managed to achieve sales growth at simultaneous decrease in volume of trade inventories in a warehouse.
