2018: Creation of the protected digital telecom platform

On February 21, 2018 the CROC company announced consolidation 16 geographically distributed, from Kaliningrad to Sakhalin, divisions of the federal state enterprise "Departmental Protection of Railway Transport of the Russian Federation" (FGP VO ZhDT of Russia) in a single failsafe multiservice network. As a result the customer received the protected corporate digital telecom platform that allowed to ensure safety of communications, to cut down expenses on a domestic long distance communication and to accelerate interaction of employees. The project is executed based on solutions of Huawei.

Prerequisites of the Project

Under protection of FGP VO ZhDT of Russia there are most important objects of railway transport (parks of railway stations, railway bridges, tunnels, etc.), including – important state objects. Workers of FGP VO ZhDT of Russia accompany tens of thousands of cars plying on all network of the railroads. Daily they make tens of thousands of calls at accomplishment of tasks of prevention of plunder of loads and property of the railroads, ensuring fire safety, mitigation of consequences of emergency.

Project Progress

Within the project CROC transferred analog a telecom the customer's infrastructure to digital, upgraded a corporate data network and ensured safety of communication channels and also reduced costs for telephone communication. Besides, the systems of a corporate IP telephony and unified communications were implemented. As a result workers of the customer can quickly interact between divisions and also quicker dial to the necessary specialists. In turn, IT service VO ZhDT of the Russian Federation thanks to the digital platform had an opportunity on a centralized basis and flexibly to manage ICT infrastructure.

Project Results

The main business component of multiservice network – UC and the IP telephony. Quickly to contact the necessary worker from any of 16 regional divisions, there is no more need to use mobile communication or external city telephone networks – enough to key pair on stationary phone. The customer uses a unified number plan – employees of VO ZhDT of the Russian Federation have four-digit extensions, and each branch in division has the two-digit prefix. It is possible to phone to working teams in read seconds.

That the management and specialists of FGP VO ZhDT of Russia were in touch even in business trips across Russia, the system of unified communications of Huawei was implemented. As a result the calls arriving on telephone exchanges of divisions are redirected on mobile phones.

2012: The system of a video conferencing in the coordination center

The SPIRIT company announced on December 18, 2012 implementation of the VideoMost software product in the FGP "Departmental Protection of Russian Federation Railway Transport" coordination center. Product introduction was implemented by CROC company.

Background

Video conferences of VideoMost are implemented within the large-scale project on upgrade of IT infrastructure of the coordination center implemented by CROC company. The software product of SPIRIT company will be used for carrying out video conferences between 20 regional divisions of departmental protection of railway transport distributed across all territory of Russia and the coordination center in Moscow.

The VideoMost software product is unrolled on own server framework of the customer that ensures safety of the implemented video conference.
