In December, 2012 Energy Consulting and Tatneft completed the project of translation of the information management system logistics of JSC Tatneft on the new version of SAP.
The centralized logistics of the enterprises of Tatneft Group is supported by the modern managerial system "Electronic Shop" based on SAP. A system is integrated with the modules "logistics", "finance", "controlling", "budgeting", "project management" and "TORO" of the SAP solution ERP and also with JSC Tatneft electronic marketplace.
Electronic shop was created on SAP R/3 4.6 platform in the Management of Logistics (ML) of JSC Tatneft in 2004 under the leadership of the Deputy CEO on the general questions Fyodor Shchelkov and the chief of UMTO Alexander Avramenko. Deloitte & Touche Regional Consulting Services Limited estimated the level of automation of purchasing activity on four points from four, having recognized it to "front lines". Over time version 4.0 ceased to be supported fully by the developer therefore the decision on transition to the new version ― by SAP ERP 6.0 was made.
The project is executed by consultants of Energy Consulting jointly with specialists of UMTO and Management Tatneftesnab of JSC Tatneft.
Within the project in an information system on the new platform such processes as management of the centralized purchases, carrying out tenders are postponed for delivery, requests for electronic marketplace, distribution of the purchased materials by structural divisions according to requests, the analysis by agreements with suppliers.
Except technical translation of a system on the new version, advanced functionality of the version of SAP ERP 6.0 allowed to implement additional opportunities among which expanded control over budgets of customers and a contract management process on delivery.
If before operation with agreements were fixed in a system only by carrying out accounting entries, then today this process is considerably optimized: a part of tasks is postponed from accountants for engineers who directly sign agreements with suppliers. During the project such functions as execution of the agreement, formation of the purchase order, registration of the act of the performed works, invoices, the analysis of services of the supplier, expense analysis and operational accounting are automated.
Besides, in a system the new tolling scheme, the report on sending transit loads and also the new agency scheme according to which the customer at the organization of purchases uses services of agents are implemented. The report of the agent allows to analyze, in particular, information on purchases by suppliers of agents, agreements with agents, amounts of materials and transaction amount.
During the project standard roles of users which allow to connect quickly to the system of new employees were also developed, to appoint new features and powers.
Users of a system are the staff of departments of supply of Management of logistics and also purchasing department specialists, sales office, accounting, production departments, the central warehouse, responsible persons and engineers of bases of Management Tatneftesnab.
2013. Circulation
Four divisions of JSC Tatneft with the assistance of Energy Consulting integrator completed automation of financial and economic activity on the SAP ERP platform, the pres-service of integrator reported on June 10, 2013. The project is executed within replication of a corporate system of management of finance in structural divisions of a nonbasic type of activity.
Result
The normative and research station, the Engineering center, the Tatar prospecting management and also Representative office of JSC Tatneft in Moscow successfully handed over quarter accounting, management and tax statements.
The project is executed during program implementation on creation of a system of formation of summary accounting records of JSC Tatneft on the basis of SAP ERP. Within the project standard solutions in the field of accounting, tax and management accounting are developed and implemented, transition from the solution FORT to the new SAP ERP platform is made.
Financial and economic activity of the company is automated within four months after integration testing of standard project solutions. Within the next three months these enterprises successfully prepared the monthly and quarter reporting in a new system.
Elena Loboyko, the deputy CEO of Energy Consulting, noted: "The experience of typification got earlier in oil and gas production departments and other large divisions of the company was applied to start of SAP in averages and small structural divisions of JSC Tatneft. Nevertheless, despite the seeming simplicity of process of implementation in separate divisions, by quantity and complexity of tasks in general this project is comparable with creation of a management system for large enterprise".
