The service "Control of vehicle fleet" developed by MegaLabs company allows corporate clients of MegaFon, using the special interface for monitoring, in real time to control parameters of the movement of the motor transport and also to trace indications of the different sensors installed in each vehicle (V) — be at the client 2 machines or 2 thousand.

2018: Module SafeDrive

On December 20, 2018 the MegaFon company reported that it updated service for control and optimization of movement of Control of Vehicle Fleet transport. According to the company, service will help the companies to increase service life of vehicles, to cut fuel consumption and quantity of penalties and also to increase culture of behavior on roads and to discipline drivers.

"Control of vehicle fleet" for December, 2018 includes the special module SafeDrive to which operation scoring technologies are the cornerstone. The sensor accelerometer which reacts to changes in the movement, such as sharp braking or sharp start is built in the onboard device of the vehicle. Collected data are transferred to the platform which creates forecast models and makes the rating of driving. The system of rating is necessary to estimate risk of emergence of road accident, to minimize a possibility of accident or penalties for traffic offense. Updating of service also includes integration into fuel cards. It excludes possible "gray" schemes at payment for gasoline from the driver. Managers or employees who are responsible for operation of transport in the company will be able to check what amount of gasoline the driver fills in in the gasoline tank and how many pays for it.

The updated interface of service allows to manage vehicle fleet even easier. It is optional to install the software on the computer: thanks to a cloud service information is available on any device in the web interface or in mobile application. The solution facilitates work and to the driver: if earlier waybills needed to be filled out manually, then for December, 2018 all data are fixed automatically. If the car has an accident, it is possible to part of incident to recover on indicators of onboard telematics. It will simplify process of interaction with insurance companies.

Also "Control of vehicle fleet" allows the user to provide quality of the transported products and to minimize risk of its damage. For example, in case of transportation of products, "Control of vehicle fleet" helps to control temperature of the refrigeration unit. If the sensor records temperature range deviation from the set parameters, the manager will receive the emergency notification.

According to forecasts of analysts for December, 2018, by 2021 in Russia, the CIS and Eastern Europe there will be about 9 million "connected" cars. The subscription fee is charged on each directory number connected to service and makes 500 rub a month (including VAT). For receiving service the corporate client of MegaFon needs to fill out the order form on delivery and equipment installation — independently according to the link or at office of corporate sales of capital branch of MegaFon.
