Brinks (BIT:IFRS 8)

Specialists of 1C: Accounting and Trade (BIT automated key business processes in the BRINKS motor transportation company using the 1C: Accounting 8, BIT.MSFO and 1C: Motor Vehicle Management 8 software products. During the project 23 jobs are automated.

Earlier for the purposes of accounting in the company spreadsheets and paper carriers were used. There were difficulties with preparation of the reporting under the US GAAP standards. Process of reporting borrowed about one and a half month and was very labor-consuming. The management decided to automate activity of the company using an information system which would allow to prepare quickly regulated reporting and also would help to manage transport and warehouse logistics.

As software products were it is selected the solutions "1C: Accounting 8", "BIT.MSFO" and "1C: Motor Vehicle Management 8" as their functionality completely corresponded to assigned tasks.

Project Progress

In implementation process of the project specialists "1C: Accounting and Trade" (BIT):

1. Made installation and setup of systems, the card of compliance of accounts of RAS and IFRS is developed, algorithms of closing of expensive accounts are configured, financial forms (balance, PnL, etc.) which form automatically according to a system now are configured.
2. Improved the processings allowing to keep account of the OS groups on the US GAAP standards on the basis of the relevant documents of accounting of OS in RAS, the report on comparison of postings of RAS and IFRS for increase in data transparency is finished
3. Made seamless integration of BITS. IFRS with the standard product "1C: Accounting 8", at the same time economic operations were performed at the same time and on accounting under Russian accounting standards and according to the US GAAP standards
4. Made the step-by-step block training aimed at teaching users to configure independently the program since. BIT:MSFO 8 differs in the friendly interface which allows users to configure in many respects independently model of broadcast of data and preparation of the reporting.

With the help "1C: Motor Vehicle Management 8" processes of management of transportations are automated.

Results of automation

The efficiency of activity of the enterprise increased, it was promoted by the following changes:

• reporting speed for parent company increased by 4 times, the labor input of this process also significantly decreased;
• the cost of the audit report fell by 5%. Preparation of the reporting necessary for financing of investment programs, receiving bank loans stopped being "bottleneck" of the company therefore the enterprise managed to reduce the cost of borrowed funds by 0.5 percentage points and to increase the speed of start of investment programs twice.
• processes of management of transport and warehouse are optimized.
