Conterra 2.2

The Orienge company, the partner of DIRECTUM in the USA, announced a release of the next version of the Conterra ECM system. Having focused on implementation of requests of users, developers paid attention both to development of the platform, and completions of a client part.

Exit of Conterra 2.2 was prepared at close cooperation of Orienge with development team of the DIRECTUM company which is the supplier of the IS-Builder platform for the Conterra system. Thanks to unity of platforms in the new version it was succeeded to implement the opportunities which already became a basis of the DIRECTUM 4.9 system: hints to system objects, additional search criterions, the point "Favorites" in a tree of users at purpose of access rights. Also the preview of documents and creation of covers are available to users of Conterra during the work now through the web client who is of special interest for the American users.

In addition features of the American market predetermined unique changes in applied development. Business solutions based on Conterra were considerably developed: the solution Records Management was replenished with the new mechanism of binding of records of electronic and paper documents, and in the solution Contracts Management effective management of lifecycle of agreements using the Milestones function was provided (Stages). Together with it integration opportunities of Conterra extended due to functionality of Conterra Integration Toolset – a set of integration tools of an ECM system with the third-party systems, for example, popular in Microsoft Dynamics the USA GP or SAP.
