The Skolkovo Foundation prepares for operation a budgeting system and the corporate reporting

The company Naviсon announced on January 15, 2013 end of the complex project of century Skolkovo Foundation. Within this project the budgeting system and the corporate reporting on a technology basis - solutions is created IBM Cognos TM1 and IBM Cognos BI.

Objectives

Lack of sales opportunity of full budget process in the existing systems, extremely deadlines of preparation and providing budgets and reports in superior organizations, need of operational information analysis by preparation of reports, a large number of users became the main premises of creation of a system.

Components

Execution of the project represented two stages: "pilot project" and "development project and replications of the solution". Within two months the Navicon group implements a pilot project of a trial budgeting model and the reporting based on IBM Cognos Planning and IBM Cognos BI. The budget of Fund for 2012 prepared in a system, setup more than 30 analytical reports, preparation of automatically updated presentation slides for the management, an opportunity for work with different versions of budgets became results of a pilot project. Also as development of a pilot project the mechanism of loading of actual data from a 1C system was implemented.

Development of a system

The tasks facing Fund required existence of more powerful platform allowing to integrate the development strategy for Fund and these budgetings, to estimate and control execution of budgets to expand considerably analytics during creation of the corporate reporting. As a result the customer selected TM1 IBM Cognos system.
