Penza Electric device implements the complete solution CAD

The engineering and consulting company "IRISOFT" completed the project on system implementation of design of Creo on the Penza Federal State Unitary Enterprise Software Elektropribor, the press service of integrator reported on January 16, 2013.

Background

"The choice of the relevant decision and integrator was defined by characteristics of the software product and also presence at supplier company of the specialists having work experience with this solution in our region, - Alexander Koloskov, the chief of bureau of programming of CNC machines of Federal State Unitary Enterprise Software Elektropribor emphasized. - The solution Creo selected by us already successfully is used at other enterprises of the region among which there is JSC Penza Research Electrotechnical Institute, the Volga region center of machining and so on. The experts IRISOFT having wide experience of the implementing solutions PTC including in Volga federal district, proved as the reliable and responsible partner. As a result a choice was made for benefit of a CAD of Creo and IRISOFT company.

"For consultation on the project representatives of Federal State Unitary Enterprise Software Elektropribor addressed us in March, 2012, - Pavel Gonchar, the head of sales of IRISOFT company tells. - The customer was faced by two main objectives: the choice of the software product which as much as possible would satisfy to requirements of the enterprise, both implementation implementation with the lowest risk and losses for production. Having carried out complete project analysis, we suggested the customer to stop the choice on a full-function CAD of Creo".

Solution

Within the project the IRISOFT company performed delivery of a licensed software and its implementation and also the development of the post-processor for the existing equipment (3-coordinate milling processing) which came to the end at the end of May of last year. Besides, experts IRISOFT provided training of employees "by software Electric device to basic working methods with Creo and to use of special tools of development of managing programs with the subsequent work with the post-processor. Training was carried out in two steps: the basic course was given in March, and the rate devoted to work with CNC machines in May, 2012.

Result

Product introduction of Creo solves all tasks set for the project. In particular, in "software Electric device steady work of the technology bureau which is responsible for formation of managing programs for CNC machines is organized. Development and release of parts on the CNC equipment after project implementation is performed more quickly, besides the release of defective products was sharply reduced that allowed to reduce costs of the enterprise.
