The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine buys licenses for protection against virus invasions

Kaspersky Lab announced on January 17, 2013 delivery to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine of licenses to use of the solution for protection of workstations and servers of corporate network from the malware and spam of Kaspersky Business Space Security. Delivery and implementation were performed by Datastrim company.

Background

"Annually around the world the number of the malicious software and also cyber attacks to public institutions therefore one of paramount and perspective tasks from a public sector is information security support increases, – Vyacheslav Polukhin, the deputy head of department of Department of IT of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine noted. – The safety and confidentiality of information, especially where personal data of persons are processed, are the compulsory provision of work of any state of the device, and success of this work directly depends on reliability of a system of protection of IT infrastructure. Earlier we used the antivirus software Dr.Web, however special resources are necessary for the maximum protection of our organization having an extensive digital departmental telecommunication network across all Ukraine. For this reason, as a result of contrastive analysis of functionality of different anti-virus products, we decided to pass to the solution which for us was proposed by Kaspersky Lab – Kaspersky Business Space Security".
