Biography

Was born in Tambov.

In 1978 graduated from economics department of Michurinsk fruit and vegetable institute of I.V. Michurin.

Career

From January to July, 1978 worked as the economist in the Tambov agroconsolidation Molokoprom.

From 1978 to 1980 served in ranks of the Soviet army. In 1981 - 1982 – the senior teacher of Michurinsk fruit and vegetable institute. Since 1982 its labor activity is connected with the Tambov teacher training college (nowadays TGU of G.R. Derzhavin).

From 1982 to 1984 – the senior research associate of the Tambov state teacher training college.

From 1986 to 1987 – the senior teacher, from 1987 to 1990 – the secretary of Communist Party committee, from 1990 to 1995 – the vice rector for scientific work of the Tambov state teacher training college.

On December 29, 1994 the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation based on the Tambov state teacher training college and Institute of culture formed the Tambov state university of G.R. Derzhavin. From April to June, 1995 Vladislav Mikhaylovich Yuryev held a position of the first vice rector of TGU of G.R. Derzhavin. From June to December, 1995 – the acting as the rector of the Tambov state university of G.R. Derzhavin.

Since December, 1995 and till present Vladislav Mikhaylovich Yuryev is unanimously elected by the solution of an enlarged meeting of the Academic council of TGU to a post of the rector of the Tambov state university of G.R. Derzhavin four times.

Since 2000 - the chairman of regional dissertation council on protection of theses for a degree of the Doctor of Economics.

Political, public activity

Member of Presidium of the Central Board of Free economic society of Russia, chairman of the VEO Tambov regional organization of Russia, member of the international union of economists.

In December, 2010 Yuryev is elected the deputy of the Tambov region duma of the V convocation. Heads committee on science, education and culture. Actively participates in development of laws of the area and to entering into them of constructive amendments.

During election campaigns of deputies of the State Duma and the Russian President, Yuryev was a member of Coordination Council.

In 2004 was an authorized representative of V.V. Putin in the Tambov region during the election of the president of the Russian Federation.

Is engaged in patronage.

Family

Married. Two children.

Awards, achievements

In 1986 defended the master's thesis on economy at the Moscow state teacher training college.

In 1997 defended the dissertation for a degree of the Doctor of Economics.

The list of scientific, scientific and methodical and publicistic works exceeds 520 publications.
