Pressure from the escalating data volumes critical for business in terms of need of the multidimensional and fast analysis, is tested by many large corporations working in the most different spheres of world economy. To be successful, the global company should not only implement flexible and easily scalable business processes, but also timely monitor changes of the local environment in each region, namely: behavior of direct and indirect competitors, modifications of a normative field, nuances of development of economy and many other things. The new hardware-software SAP HANA platform in which the high-performance technology of calculations in RAM (in-memory) is implemented in combination with the increased capacities of the server hardware give to business real chance to reach higher level of rapid response to time calls that is already repeatedly proved in practice, and in the most different companies and fields of activity.

So, in the known world company Cisco before SAP implementation of HANA in terms of business there were problems with understanding of seasonality of behavior of buyers of the equipment, there was no information support of sales managers in real time. From the technical point of view there were no tools allowing to interpret correctly results of processing and the analysis of the accumulated statistical and other business data necessary for the solution of relevant tasks. SAP implementation of HANA allowed Cisco to make the analysis of seasonal behavior of buyers within five seconds, connecting at the same time any filters — over the country, on a consumer segment or sales level and also within two seconds to receive results of the analysis, end-to-end on several quarters, also with a combination of sales levels and their results. It, in turn, allowed to react quicker to changes in a customer behavior and to receive results, notable for business.
