Gazprom Neft starts failsafe DPC in St. Petersburg

The Linxdatacenter company implemented the project on creation of failsafe DPC for placement of IT infrastructure of Gazprom Neft with the individual engineering systems, the press service of the contractor reported on January 23, 2013.

Solution

Within project implementation necessary capacities for creation of a uniform data processing center with the individual procedures of access conforming to high standards of security are organized. As a result Gazprom Neft received individually selected capacities the reserved input of optics in DPC, the individual system of access and video surveillance, an opportunity for placement of a duty shift of engineers and a security service in the round-the-clock mode.

It is constructed certified by SCS. The agreement between Linxdatacenter and Gazprom Neft provides insurance of material risks and ensuring safety of the equipment of the customer, ensuring reservation of necessary capacities, the monthly reporting on accomplishment of the conditions stated in the agreement on level of the provided services (SLA).

Konstantin Kravchenko, the head of the department of information technologies, automation and telecommunications of Gazprom Neft, noted: "The new project will become a basis for further development of IT of architecture of Gazprom Neft and will allow to implement all strategic programs of the company. Thanks to creation of hi-tech DPC in St. Petersburg we had an opportunity to implement important changes in IT infrastructure that considerably increases qualities of work and availability of the major business systems".
