The Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation in Sverdlovsk region implements the IP telephony in the administrative center and on places

The BELTEL system integrator completed creation of network of a uniform operational conference circuit of territorial authorities of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation across Sverdlovsk region based on the IP-telefonii network integrating General Directorate of Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Sverdlovsk region, four structural divisions and 15 divisions of police of Regional Office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Yekaterinburg. The project is executed based on solutions of Avaya, the company contractor reported on January 25, 2013.

Before

Prior to the beginning of the project in divisions of Regional Office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs across Yekaterinburg the separate telecommunication equipment of different producers which is not included in a single network was used. It was required to create the single network of communication meeting the modern requirements. Project implementation was charged to the BELTEL system integrator.

Project parts

Among priority requirements of the customer there is a use of VoIP technology giving the chance of the organization of new jobs in different police stations without the organization of additional infrastructure.

Within the project central UPATS of Meridian 1 Opt. 81C expanded and upgraded to Avaya CS1000M Multi Group Rls 7.5. In premises of 15 police stations of Regional Office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the city and four structural divisions of Head department the equipment of automatic telephone exchange with reservation of main units and connection to a central station is installed. All divisions are united in a single network which general capacity exceeds 4500 ports.

Besides, the system of conference communication allowing to organize conference calls is delivered, the system of accounting and control of telephone negotiations and also a recording system of a talk is implemented.

Result

The network of a uniform operational conference circuit of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Sverdlovsk region with the vista numerical shot is as a result created that allows police officers to make quickly calls and to use all opportunities of modern telephony in the work. The telecommunication network meets all requirements of reliability and functionality and allows to create jobs for new employees without binding to infrastructure.
