MES of the East start the system of remote condition monitoring of power facilities

The engineering company of R.V.S in cooperation with Russian Corporation of Means of Communication (RCMC) Ltd implemented the project on creation of the integrated automated control system security (IACSS) of substation of 220 kV Russian of FGC UES branch of JSC – MES of the East located on an island part Vladivostok was reported by the company integrator on January 28, 2013.

Result

The possibility of complex round-the-clock remote condition monitoring of a power facility and also actions of dispatching and operation personnel is as a result provided. The KASUB system allows to prevent and to react quickly to emergence of emergency situations, increasing reliability of power supply of consumers of Russky Island, including Far Eastern Federal University.

"Deployment of KASUB in an area of responsibility of our company, in particular, on substation of 220 kV Russian, allowed not only to increase security of objects from terrorist threats, but also to create the high-quality instrument of control of actions of personnel of substations, - Ilya Lesogor, the head of department of KASUB MES of the East noted. - The acquired information is used for operational acceptance of management decisions on maintenance of reliability of power supply of consumers".

The created systems integrate in themselves the existing subsystems of security and technology video surveillance, security, fire and disturbing alarm, access control.
