Optima completes a difficult implementation project of a BI system

The RBC Group company announced on May 28 project completion of system implementation of a business intelligence of QlikView in Optima company.

In January, 2013 the companies initiated the project on system implementation, as data source for implementation of the Stock Analysis and Analysis of Sales applications serves SAP ECC system 6.0. For data loading the certified SAP Connector from QlikView developer - QlikTech companies was used.

Job

The project capacious also proceeded 3 months. According to the results of implementation two applications are implemented: "Stock analysis in retail trade" and "Analysis of sales in retail trade".

During the project tasks are carried out:

• installation and setup of a system;
• installation and setup of QlikView SAP Connector;
• training of a project team from Optima company to development tools in the QlikView and SAP Connector system;
• development of analytical applications: "Retail stock analysis", "Analysis of sales of retail";
• testing of the developed applications by business users;
• transfer of a system to the mode of commercial operation.

The consulting group of RBC Group company integrator, carried out a number of demonstrations of systems capabilities of QlikView on the basis of the packaged solutions developed earlier.

Key features of the project:

• use of multilevel hierarchy of types of goods;
• implementation in applications of the analysis of "Representation of goods" with a possibility of grouping by different criteria;
• implementation of the analysis of not used range for the period.
