The GUFSIN across the Rostov region joins in networks of Rostelecom

Rostelecom organized for divisions of the Main Directorate of the Federal Penitentiary Service across the Rostov region (GUFSIN) a virtual private network (IP VPN, 62 connection points), the press service of operator reported on February 1, 2013.

Background

According to the results of the held auction of the open auction announced by Federal state institution "Criminal and Executive Inspectorate of the Main Directorate of the Federal Penitentiary Service for the Rostov Region", "Rostelecom" it is recognized by the winner on the right of rendering services in inter-chip digital links.

Solution

The technical specifications of the government contract provide the organization of a virtual private network of regional scale, its round-the-clock service and creation of reserve points.

The implemented project integrated geographically distributed departments of organization in the single protected corporate network with a full range of telecommunication services and high degree of reliability.
