The KPD-Kargo company which is the leader on Russian with the market on the volume of the rendered services in low temperature conditions warehouses is also the company which with continuous annual growth on average of 18%, shows interest in various technologies of warehouse processing which allow to grow the companies and allow us to increase functionality of a WMS system.

Of such implemented technologies processing of loads according to the scheme PBL is next (Pick By Line is a kind of Cross Docking technology when before processing of deliveries in a warehouse it is already known to what orders the goods from the supplier provided that the goods are not marked by an appointment order number will get)

On start of project 3PL of warehouse processing of Victoria Group in warehouses of KPD-Terminal company, the task of implementation of PBL technology was set. Also for the reasons, independent "as usual" from anybody, the same goods arriving on a warehouse can be processed both on PBL technology and for the normal scheme of selection within one wave of selection, and on it restrictions and innovations did not end: this client it is necessary to process in the conditions of tough deficit of places of selection. Besides, suppliers try to increase by as much as possible sales amounts and if it is possible to exceed delivery scope for 5%, then it will be exceeded. In case of exceeding of delivery scope it is necessary "to scatter" exceeding on all shops on a specific algorithm.

At the moment Victoria Group, contains 29 supermarkets and shops in the Moscow region, 29 addresses for consolidation of orders without effort managed to be organized in a new warehouse in the item Synkovo, for fast and high-quality processing.

Products arriving on a warehouse and markerovany a delivery type of PBL, automatically are placed in a transit zone from dock of unloading, upon task performance of placement tasks for products delivery by orders form and tasks are performed not on technology the order to goods (when it is necessary from collected pallety to bypass a picking row and to select products), and the goods to the order (when the goods with accepted pallets are removed for the order attached to the warehouse address, and the remaining balance if like that is available go to the storage area). The so-called roundabout where pallets with goods bypass the addresses of consolidation of shops, in a continuous duty turns out. If on a pallet it is filled, the task for replacement collected pallets from a zone of consolidation of shop in an expedition zone forms. Thus the highest speed of selection of orders is reached. The second wave performs tasks for selection about a pallet from address storage but not PBL which came in deliveries.
